.........And now for something
different. I purchased my first Hornby '00' item as soon as our first son
was born in 1967.. During the following years with my first and
then second son born. 10 years later we built some thirteen '00' gauge
layouts. The only things that were true to scale was the rolling stock,
track and some of the buildings. The rest of the layouts were just
guessed at, whatever came to mind at the time, that's what we did !!! So here we
have a set of pictures taken at various times during the building of a layout in
the 1980's.. We no longer have any model railways... The boys
grew up, left home and so we sold the lot. |
