Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway Diesel Gala - April 2008

The Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway Diesel  Gala was a brilliant event although on the Saturday when we visited the weather was a very mixed bag. This did not deter us from making good use of all the photographic opportunities. As you can see there was a nice selection of locomotives and I have added a few of the railways artefacts for you to enjoy. Also you will find a picture of Gotherington Station which was taken from the train as we passed through. This station is not owned by the G & W railway. Cheltenham Racecourse Station has greatly improved and it looks as if the railway is now focusing on extending northwards to Broadway. We wish them good luck. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
