THE GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY

The latest of many visits to this railway. Many years ago I was a volunteer here with my youngest son PJ. We cleaned station and coach widows.

On this visit in July 2007 I took my grandson and was impressed to find six loco’s running plus the railcar. Three steam and three diesel. We enjoyed our day very much and made four journeys. Also of interest is the outdoor model railway at Rothley.
