PRESTON STATION

Here we have a collection of pictures taken over a two day period. The dates were 7th and 9th October 2008. I thought the station was beautiful, full of nostalgia of the bygone steam age. How super it was that on the 9th a steam tour pulled in, yes, 'The Royal Scot'. This had run on a day excursion between Crewe and Carlisle. Unfortunately my camera ( Nikon Coolpix 2100 ) could not cope with the lack of light, the pictures being taken around 7 pm. Not to worry though, I got some nice Video footage.
