STANWICK LAKES. Northamptonshire
February 8th 2008 was the first really sunny day this year and
with the temperature in the 50's Ernie and I decided to take a
walk/ride around this leisure park.
We were quite surprised to see so many people with the same
idea.
We started near the road flyover at Irthlingborough and cycled
through to Ringstead Locks. Here we found the maintenance men
working and took pictures of the now derelict water wheels in the
old mill.
We covered just eight miles and enjoyed 'a touch of spring'
