Brrrrr ! A really cold day on 12th March 2006. Margaret Thatcher's father, Alf Roberts was born here. My father was born at 'The Laurels' on the Denford Road at the end of Back
Lane.
I had holidays here in the late 1940's and can remember walking down the hill
to Yew Tree Farm to get a gill of milk. It is now a private residence. The
13th
century church is about the oldest building and the Baptist Church has a date in
brick of 1887.
