PICTORIAL WALKS

Badby, Northamptonshire

This Village is noted for Bluebells. In the woods during the month of May the ground displays a beautiful carpet of the blue flowers. People flock here to admire the picture.

The village of Badby is very tranquil with lovely thatched cottages and a delightful church. I first visited the village to stay at the Youth Hostel in the 1960’s. Our cycling club played hide and seek in the rambling garden. The hostel is now a private dwelling.
