Glasgow River Clyde - October 2005 ( 41 images )

The picture is of an old railway bridge across the River Clyde. It has seen busier times but it now serves as a link between the south, Central Station, the north and Queen Street Station. It is a fine sunny morning in October 2005 and I am walking alongside the River Clyde in Glasgow.

I start the walk at The Scottish Exhibition Centre and finish at Glasgow Green.
There is a mix of old and new buildings and the area which was once docklands is continually being redeveloped. The beauty of the redevelopment is that there are many reminders of the past.
