TAYNUILT. Scotland
With the sun shining brightly we travelled
along the A85 trunk road to Oban. Our aim was to visit the small
community of Taynuilt. The scenery here is beautiful and although
fishing is now it's popular pastime during the period 1753 to1874 it
was noted for it's iron works. The furnace and some ancillary
buildings are preserved and can be visited.. |
