Glen Douglas. Scotland
Without a doubt this is my favourite Glen.
At the eastern end it has a fantastic view over Loch Lomond. At the
western end is another classic view over Loch Long. The Glen is
about 6 miles long.
The climb up in to the Glen is off the A82
trunk road about 30 miles north of Glasgow. Look for the sign
Inverbeg on the left and the next turning will take you up a very
steep narrow road in to the Glen. Suitable for cars, bikes and
walking only.
It is off the tourist trail and offers peace
and tranquility.
