Castle Combe.
Wiltshire
Well now here's a very pretty village. If it
was not for a few modern vehicles you would really believe that you
had gone back in time a couple of hundred years. Just take a look at
the pictures. Some of the prettiest buildings that you will find
anywhere in Britain. The village is situated to the west of
Chippenham off the B4039. The car park is a quarter of a mile down a
fairly steep road...So do remember that you will have to walk back.
There are hostelries in the village to refresh you and the church is
usually open.
