ABERFOYLE. Scotland
This small village is known as The Gateway to The Trossachs. The
village is quite attractive with the river running through it. Just
north of the village along a narrow road are two lochs, Loch Ard and
Loch Chon and on passing these you can continue to Loch Katrine or
The Inversnaid Hotel on the east bank of Loch Lomond. Inchmahome
Priory is to the east of the village. To enter the Trossachs one has
to negotiate a very steep hill on a very narrow road with hairpin
