I had one weeks' leave and reported to
Royal Air Force Insworth near to Gloucester.
Here I was to have sixteen weeks training as a Cook 2nd
Class. At the time I was very disappointed with this, but as
time passed I found that it was one of the best jobs in the forces,
because all personnel loved the cooks......They just had to,
if they wanted feeding! The time flew by and after another weeks
leave I was posted to Royal Air Force Bruggen in Germany. |
